The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you're looking for an affordable robot vacuum and mop. It's got a fantastic mopping capability, but it lacks some of the advanced features found in its more expensive counterpart.

In the course of testing, it was able to handle dry oats and dust on carpets of medium pile and pet hair on hard flooring. It doesn't employ LIDAR, however, like cheaper models do to map your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the best-rated robots. It comes with a variety of features and incredible cleaning power, including the dirt compartment integrated into the base of charging. It's easy to set up thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automatic cleaning functions at the touch of a button. You can select the general clean option which focuses on the elimination of larger particles like rice and cereal. Or you can choose two mappings to ensure that the entire home is completely cleaned.

This robot vacuum performs well on both floors that are bare and low-pile carpet. It can remove pet hair and sucks large items up. It doesn't lose its suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It does have a hard time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot says it will get better with future models.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM to map the interior. This allows it to avoid obstacles, like stairs and other barriers, and also to clean your entire house efficiently possible. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, as well as create virtual boundary markers, so that it can recognize areas that need extra attention.

The app is adept at nagging you only when something needs attention, for example, the clean water tank running low or a scheduled cleaning session having been canceled because of a full dust bin.

You can also create and merge rooms to modify how the Q Revo treats your abode. The Omni X2 Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested, because of its rotating mop pads that scrub away tough stains and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent as well, and it boosts suction when it detects carpet to ensure it does an excellent job. It has a large rechargeable battery that can last up to a week. The mopping mode of the robot is also very effective.

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end mop and vacuum robot that comes with a variety of features that you aren't likely to find on robots of this price range. It can make detailed floor maps and detect different flooring types. It's also among the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. While these features are nice to have but they also push the L10s Ultra into the category of luxury, which might make it slightly more expensive than the average homeowner require.

It is designed to resemble a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish that's enhanced by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which protects the vacuum and furniture from damage when moving around the home.
